
Tickets for the St. John Bosco vs. Mater Dei football game on Saturday night at Santa Ana Stadium will not be available to the general public.
Mater Dei and St. John Bosco are limiting tickets access to players’ and cheerleaders’ immediate families and to a select individuals within their school communities.
Santa Ana Stadium attendance for the game is limited to 33 percent of the stadium’s seating capacity of 9,000 spectators.
The game will be televised live by Bally Sports West.
St. John Bosco (5-0) is No. 1 in the CalHiSports.com state rankings. Mater Dei (4-0) is No. 2 in the state.
The teams split their two games last season. Mater Dei won their Trinity League game 38-24 and St. John Bosco was victorious in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship game 39-34.
In 2018, St. John Bosco beat Mater Dei in a Trinity League game and Mater Dei beat St. John Bosco in the CIF-SS Division 1 final. In ’17, Mater Dei defeated St. John Bosco in the Trinity League and in the Division 1 final.
