He was a five-time AFL All-Star who led the AFL in scoring five times and was the 1964 AFL MVP. Love & prayers to the family of Gino Cappelletti
Gino was a friend, voice of wisdom & adopted Godfather during my time @Patriots – always had a hug, smile & “my paisan” for me
His stories/history lessons of the #AFL & #NFL were magic & calmed me on many road trips

Devastated to learn that Gino Cappelletti, my first broadcast partner in Boston and one of the finest gentlemen I’ve ever known, passed away today at the age of 89. My thoughts are with his wife, Sandy, and his daughters. A true @Patriots legend.

Heartbroken to hear that Patriots HOF Gino Cappelletti has passed away. He was a friend of the family. I remember going to lunch with Gino long before I broke into TV and his words of encouragement were “You can’t hit a home run if you don’t take a swing”! RIP Gino. ??
