A family law attorney is speaking out about what went down with Olivia Wilde and her ex Jason Sudeikis.

If you don’t know, this week, while presenting on stage at CinemaCon, Olivia was handed a mysterious envelope that read “personal and confidential” on the front. It was revealed that she was actually served with custody papers during the presentation. A source claimed Jason “had no prior knowledge” about how the paperwork would be delivered to Olivia.

Now, a family law attorney is speaking out about the claim.

Family law attorney David Glass (who is not involved in the case) weighed in. He claims that it would be “highly unlikely” that Jason had no knowledge of how Olivia would be served.

“I talked to every one of my clients to get the information on where could we serve him or her,” Glass told People. “We get all that information from them. And if you’re going to go to that sort of extreme length to do it publicly, to do it in an embarrassing way, I can’t see the client not knowing about it. You’re obligated as an attorney to share most things that you’re doing with your client.”
